About the Event

“The times are urgent: let’s slow down.” - Bayo Akomolafe

As the colorful leaves fall, let’s practice going slow. During this weekend, we will focus on being present to the movement of Spirit (however we name this Great Mystery) in the joys and challenges of our lives, families, communities, and world. What are we noticing? Learning? Being invited to? And how do we want to respond?

Our time together will include contemplative practices, time in nature, group sharing, individual reflection and more.

Dates: Friday, October 23 - Sunday, October 25 (We will begin with dinner on Friday and close with lunch on Sunday.)

Location: Emmaus, South Bend, IN

Facilitator: Bridget Purdome, Spiritual Director and Retreat Leader

Suggested Offering: $175. (All offerings will support the house and grounds at Emmaus.)
